  • Define clear API product requirements, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, launch criteria, documentation needs, and measurable outcomes for engineering delivery.

  • Own execution for modern APIs that modernize legacy data-sharing products and workflows, customer migration support, adoption tracking, utilization improvements, and legacy product sunset readiness.

  • Own execution of improvements to the Async API portfolio, including customer discovery, market requirements, product gaps, performance needs, developer experience improvements, and roadmap execution required to grow adoption and revenue.

  • Serve as a key stakeholder in the P&T API Operating Framework, helping execute API lifecycle improvements across intake, design, standards, documentation, governance, launch readiness, publishing, monetization, support, versioning, and retirement.

  • Define and execute developer experience requirements for Fortellis APIs to improve NPS, speed to market, and operational efficiencies.

  • Use customer feedback, developer feedback, API usage data, defect trends, support insights, operational metrics, and revenue/adoption signals to prioritize API improvements and measure outcomes.

  • Partner with engineering teams in India to maintain delivery momentum, clarify requirements, resolve trade-offs, manage dependencies, and ensure APIs are built with quality, usability, scalability, security, privacy, observability, and supportability in mind.

  • Support API launches and go-to-market readiness by partnering with Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Support, Professional Services, and Implementation teams on enablement, customer adoption, and issue resolution.

  • Experience working directly with engineering teams to define requirements, manage backlogs, make trade-offs, resolve dependencies, and deliver technical products.

  • Ability to translate API strategy into clear epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, launch plans, documentation requirements, and measurable outcomes.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use API usage data, product analytics, customer feedback, support trends, defect data, and operational metrics to make product decisions.
