Store Incharge

We are looking for an experienced Store Incharge to manage material receipt, storage, inventory control and issue of materials for our HT & LT electrical projects.

• Key ResponsibilitiesManage complete site store operations for HT & LT electrical projects.
• Receive and verify materials against PO, Delivery Challan and approved specifications.
• Maintain accurate stock registers, GRN, material issue, return and transfer records.
• Control receipt and issue of electrical materials to site teams and subcontractors.
• Maintain stock of HT/LT cables, conductors, poles, transformers, panels, RMUs, VCBs, insulators, earthing materials and electrical accessories.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
• Monitor material consumption, wastage, shortages, damages and excess stock.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Engineers, Procurement, Accounts, QA/QC and suppliers.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock and material movement reports.
• Coordinate inter-site material transfers and return of surplus materials.
• Ensure proper storage, identification, preservation and security of materials.
• Maintain proper records of high-value and serial-numbered equipment.
• Ensure store housekeeping and compliance with site safety procedures.
• Support project teams with timely availability of materials.
• Qualification & SkillsDiploma / ITI / Graduate qualification preferred.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in electrical project stores.
• Experience in HT/LT, substation, transmission, distribution or EPC projects preferred.
• Good knowledge of electrical materials and equipment.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and inventory/ERP systems.
• Strong documentation, stock control and reconciliation skills.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Experience handling site stores and material movement will be an advantage.

Reporting Structure Reports To: Project Manager / Project Head

Coordinates With: Procurement, Site Engineers, QA/QC, Accounts, Planning, Safety, Suppliers and Subcontractors.

Supervises: Store Helpers / Store Assistants and material handling personnel, as applicable.

Preferred CandidateCandidates with experience in HT/LT electrical projects, substations, transmission lines, distribution projects, DTC installations, electrical EPC or utility projects will be preferred.
