Technical Business Analysis - Sr Professional I

About your role:
You will define and support high-quality software solutions across the delivery lifecycle at Fiserv, from requirements and functional design through basic testing and implementation support. In this role, you will work independently on complex initiatives, partnering with product, business, client, and delivery teams to translate validated needs into clear solution artifacts. This is a non-coding role focused on requirements analysis, functional solution design, and quality delivery support.

What you’ll do:

• Partner with product, business, and client teams to elicit, analyze, and document requirements and translate them into functional solution designs.
• Create, refine, and maintain features and user stories in Jira, including descriptions, acceptance criteria, dependencies, and traceability to requirements.
• Define and guide solution outcomes across technology, process, data, and user impacts to align with product strategy and delivery objectives.
• Contribute across the delivery lifecycle through functional design, test scope definition, defect analysis, implementation support, and basic testing as required.
• Produce and review use cases, process maps, workflow diagrams, data-flow diagrams, BPMN diagrams, and functional design documentation.
• Identify delivery risks, requirement gaps, and dependencies early and drive them toward timely resolution.
• Review solution artifacts and support quality, consistency, and completeness across team deliverables.
• Collaborate with technical, business, and product stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.

Experience you’ll need to have:

• 4+ years of experience in business analysis, requirements analysis, functional solution design, or related software product delivery disciplines.
• 4+ years of experience in creating and maintaining features and user stories in Jira.
• 4+ years of experience in defining acceptance criteria, managing requirement traceability, and documenting dependencies across delivery artifacts.
• 4+ years of experience in creating and reviewing use cases, process maps, BPMN diagrams, workflow diagrams, data-flow diagrams, and functional design documentation.
• 4+ years of experience in supporting software delivery through test scope definition, defect analysis, implementation support, and basic testing.
• 4+ years of experience in Agile delivery environments using Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• 4+ years of experience in solution analysis across technology, data, process, and user impacts in enterprise software delivery.
• 4+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience and/or relevant certifications.
• Experience supporting banking, payments, or financial technology solutions.
• Experience mentoring other professionals or reviewing team deliverables for quality and completeness.
• Experience working independently in complex, client-facing delivery environments.
• Experience facilitating stakeholder discussions across business, product, and technology teams.
