Role Description

This role sits in the Application Infrastructure area within Group Technology Infrastructure, a critical component of Deutsche Bank's Technology, Data, and Innovation (TDI) division, which spearheads the Bank's transformation. You will play a pivotal role in the delivery of the Application Infrastructure projects with a focus on Audit and SII remediation. The technology lead is a critical role responsible for driving the successful execution of assigned Application Infrastructure book of work. This individual will be in charge of tracking assigned program deliverables, ensure smooth project management, enhance stakeholder communication, and lead discussions on key objectives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong background in technology project management, and a commitment to delivering impactful results in a fast-paced environment.

Your key responsibilities

• Program Governance & Process Adherence: Adhere to and effectively utilize established governance frameworks and standardized project management processes to ensure consistent, transparent, and efficient delivery of the assigned program's objectives.
• Project & Initiative Delivery: Manage the planning, execution, and successful completion of assigned projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, effective resource utilization, and timely delivery.
• Stakeholder Communication & Reporting: Provide clear, proactive communication on assigned project status, performance, risks, and financials to relevant stakeholders, including the Program Delivery Lead, Internal Teams, and PMO.
• Audit Framework & Remediation: Adhere to established audit frameworks and control requirements, coordinate remediation activities, track findings through closure, and provide clear evidence and status reporting to relevant stakeholders.

 

Your skills and experience

Must Have

• Project Management Expertise & Experience: 10+ Years of overall experience with a proven track record of progressive experience in program or project management, specifically navigating large-scale infrastructure environments.
• Governance Frameworks: Demonstrated experience in adhering to and applying formal program governance frameworks and standardized project management methodologies.
• Audit & Remediation: Practical exposure to security operations, infrastructure monitoring, compliance frameworks, or technical remediation environments (Audit/SII).
• Budget & Resource Management: Proven ability to manage project budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation while balancing capacity, cost, and delivery priorities and proactively addressing variances.
• Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to communicate complex, technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences, effectively influencing stakeholders and managing expectations within project scope.
• Agile Mindset: Experience operating within modern technology delivery structures, emphasizing process improvement, efficiency, and structured delivery.

 

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
