Telesales Representative

making outbound calls to promote and sell loan products, explaining loan features, converting leads into sales, and achieving targets. Key skills are strong communication in multiple languages, sales experience (especially in banking or finance), lead generation, and the ability to handle customer objections and follow up on leads. Qualifications often require a high school diploma or graduation, and experience in a similar telesales or telecalling role is preferred. 

Key responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to potential customers about loan products and services.
• Explain loan features, terms, and eligibility criteria.
• Convert leads into successful sales and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
• Explain and promote personal loan products.
• Follow up with prospects and set up appointments for sales officers.
• Record customer conversations and update CRM software.
• Generate leads and references from conversations with customers.
• Provide market feedback to supervisors regarding competitor pricing or objections. 

Required skills and qualifications

• Education: Minimum graduation, with a degree in finance or business being an advantage. 
• Experience: 6 months to 1 year or more of telesales experience in banking, NBFCs, or other financial services is often preferred. 
• Language: Good command of English and Hindi, and other regional languages. 
• Communication: Excellent verbal communication, active listening, and objection handling skills. 
• Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of MS Office, computers, and CRM software. 
• Sales Acumen: Target-oriented mindset for incentives , ability to prospect, and follow up effectively.
