Waiter / Steward

Job Summary

We are looking for a courteous, attentive, and customer-focused Waiter/Steward to provide excellent food and beverage service to guests. The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

• Key Responsibilities
• Greet and welcome guests in a polite and professional manner.Present menus, explain menu items, and provide recommendations when required.Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen/bar.Serve food and beverages promptly and according to established service standards.Ensure tables are properly set, clean, and ready for guests.Check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction.Clear and reset tables efficiently.Handle guest requests, questions, and complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dining and service areas.Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.Coordinate with kitchen, bar, cashier, and other team members for smooth service.Process bills/payments when required and ensure accurate order settlement.Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and stocking service areas.Follow company policies, service procedures, and grooming standards.
