Buyer Techno Commercial (Site)
Responsibilities
- Identification and continuous updating of vendor data base.
- Review of estimation of the various orders/packages.
- To ensure timely bid preparation & publishing of tenders to potential vendors.
- Finalization of Orders / Contracts as per timelines decided in SLA
- Ensuring timely delivery of materials as required for plant operations.
- Assurance for compliance of departmental SOP
- Co-ordination with all other departments at HO and site level for material procurement.
- Interaction with peers within business & group for knowledge sharing.
- Resolution of commercial issues of vendors.
- Standardization of practices for O&M procurement
- Development of Sub-ordinates.
- Handling of techno-commercial issues and amendments after placement of orders in co-ordination with site O&M, site Techno-commercial & other associated departments,
- ARC for various regular consumables items.
- Indigenisation of Spares
- Implementation of Business Excellence initiatives like 5S, IMS, SMS etc. in section.
Implementation of SMS/CSM in order awarding process
Qualifications
B.Tech- Mech/ Elect/ Civil/ Instrumentation
Exp- 4-8 Yrs
