Furnace Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Furnace Operator to operate and monitor ferro alloy furnaces, ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous production. The candidate should have experience in furnace operations, process monitoring, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a ferro alloy manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor ferro alloy furnaces during production.
• Start up, control, and shut down furnaces as per standard operating procedures.
• Monitor furnace temperature, power consumption, electrode position, and process parameters.
• Charge raw materials into the furnace according to production requirements.
• Ensure smooth furnace operation to achieve production and quality targets.
• Identify process abnormalities and report them to the Shift In-charge or Supervisor.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams during equipment breakdowns and scheduled maintenance.
• Maintain production records, shift logs, and operational reports.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality guidelines.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the furnace and production area.

Eligibility:

• 10th pass or above candidates
• Freshers and Experienced both can apply.
• Required SkillsKnowledge of ferro alloy furnace operations.
• Understanding of raw material charging and production processes.
• Ability to monitor furnace parameters and troubleshoot basic operational issues.
• Familiarity with industrial safety practices and PPE.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
