Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Create Purchase Orders (PO) in Tally Prime.
• Make Bilti / Transport entries in Tally Prime.
• Create new items/products in Tally Prime when required.
• Update and maintain purchase prices/rates in Tally Prime.
• Follow up with vendors for orders, stock and delivery.
• Follow up with vendors regarding payments and payment-related information.
• Follow up with transporters for dispatch, Bilti and delivery status.
• Maintain the Purchase FMS / purchase tracking system and update it regularly.
• Maintain purchase-related WhatsApp groups and share necessary updates.
• Maintain and regularly update product catalogs.
• Maintain accurate price lists and vendor rates.
• Ensure proper barcoding of products.
• Handle barcode printing, label printing and product labeling.
• Check that product prices and labels are updated correctly.
• Provide timely product rates, availability and purchase-related information to the Sales Team.
• Coordinate with vendors, transporters, sales team and internal staff for smooth purchase operations.
• Maintain proper purchase records and keep all information updated.

Required Skills

• Must know basic entries in Tally Prime.
• Basic knowledge of Purchase Order creation, Bilti entry, item creation and price updating in Tally Prime.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Good follow-up and coordination skills.
• Must be organized and able to maintain records properly.
• Should be comfortable communicating with vendors and transporters.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Google Sheets will be preferred.
• Experience in purchase, inventory, billing or vendor coordination will be an advantage.

Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who is responsible, organized and good at follow-ups. The candidate should be comfortable working on Tally Prime, purchase records, vendor coordination, transport follow-ups, barcoding, labeling, catalogs and price management.
