Job Description
Job Overview
- Role: Shift Manager/Captain
- Department: Food & Beverage (F&B)
Key Responsibilities
- Delegate tasks, monitor employee performance, and support team members during the shift.
- Handle opening or closing duties, manage inventory levels, and ensure workplace safety.
- Address and resolve customer complaints quickly and politely.
- Balance cash registers, track daily sales, and report issues to upper management.
- Know the entire food and drink menu well to answer questions.
- Suggest daily specials, coffee combos, or high-margin items to boost sales.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS terminal.
- Check on guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor food delivery times and table clearing to maintain a fast flow.
- Prior experience in a cafe, restaurant, or fast-casual dining environment is helpful.
Required Skills:
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Problem-solving skills under pressure
- Basic math and computer proficiency
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and evenings
Experience: Fresher/ Experienced both are required.
Working Hours: 9-10 Hours
