Senior Accountant – Job Responsibilities

* Handle end-to-end accounting operations using Tally Prime/Tally ERP.

* Manage accounting work for 4–5 firms/companies independently.

* Record and maintain sales, purchase, receipts, payments, journal entries, and ledger accounts.

* Prepare and maintain GST records, returns, reconciliation, and related compliance.

* Handle TDS calculation, deduction, reconciliation, and return filing.

* Perform bank reconciliation, party/vendor reconciliation, and ledger reconciliation.

* Manage accounts payable and receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.

* Prepare monthly/annual financial statements and MIS reports.

* Coordinate and assist with internal and statutory audits, including providing required documents and data.

* Ensure proper maintenance and verification of books of accounts and supporting documents.

* Handle GST reconciliation with books and portal data and resolve discrepancies.

* Ensure timely completion of accounting, taxation, and compliance activities for all assigned firms.

* Coordinate with CA/auditors, vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding accounting and taxation matters.

* Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial records and ensure compliance with applicable accounting and tax regulations.

Required Skills: Tally Prime/Tally ERP, GST, TDS, Bank & Ledger Reconciliation, Audit Handling, MS Excel, and strong knowledge of accounting principles.
