Job Location: Company Premises

Reporting To: Canteen In-charge 

1. Job PurposeTo prepare hygienic, nutritious and quality food for employees while maintaining cleanliness, food safety and proper kitchen management.

1. 2. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea/snacks as per the company’s requirements.
2. Maintain food quality, taste and hygiene standards.
3. Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen, cooking utensils and dining area.
4. Check the quality and freshness of vegetables, groceries and other food items.
5. Maintain proper storage of raw materials and cooked food.
6. Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
7. Follow food safety, personal hygiene and sanitation practices.
8. Inform the Canteen In-charge about shortages of ingredients and kitchen supplies.
9. Ensure timely preparation and serving of meals according to the company schedule.
10. Follow company rules, safety instructions and assigned duties.

• 3. Required Qualifications & SkillsBasic education and practical cooking experience.
• Knowledge of Indian food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
• Ability to prepare food in the required quantity.
• Good time management and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and storage.

4. Experience1–3 years of cooking experience preferred. Experienced candidates may be considered based on their skills.
