Job Description
Core JD should focus on:
- Overall monitoring of all ongoing construction projects
- Regular site visits and inspections
- Coordination with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors and Contractors
- Monitoring civil, structural, finishing, MEP and external development works
- Checking progress against BOQ, drawings, work programme and specifications
- Monitoring manpower, materials, machinery and subcontractors
- Identifying and resolving site delays and bottlenecks
- Coordination with clients, architects, consultants and vendors
- Monitoring quality, safety and workmanship
- Checking material requirements and procurement follow-up
- Monitoring site measurements, RA bills, subcontractor bills and work quantities
- Preparing daily/weekly project progress reports
- Maintaining a project-wise status report for the Director
- Ensuring instructions from the Director are implemented at every site
- Monitoring project cost, schedule and resource utilisation
- Coordinating mobilisation and demobilisation of resources between sites
- Maintaining proper construction documentation and records
- Handling urgent site issues independently and escalating major matters to the Director
