PRO(HOSPITAL MARKETING STAFF)

Job Purpose

The Field Marketing Executive will be responsible for offline marketing activities focused on building strong relationships with doctors, Registered Medical Practitioners (RMPs), and residential practitioners. The primary goal is to generate patient referrals and increase patient footfall at the hospital through direct field visits and networking.

Key Responsibilities

1. Doctor & RMP Meetings

- Regularly visit and meet doctors, specialists, RMPs, and residential practitioners in the assigned area.

- Build and maintain long-term professional relationships with them.

- Update doctors about hospital services, facilities, doctors, packages, and new treatments.

- Encourage doctors to refer patients to the hospital.

2. Patient Generation & Referral Network

- Create a strong referral network of doctors and RMPs who send patients to the hospital.

- Follow up regularly to convert doctor referrals into actual patient admissions/OPD visits.

- Track and report the number of patients referred by each doctor/RMP.

- Coordinate with hospital OPD/IPD teams for smooth patient handling.

3. Field Activities

- Conduct daily field visits as per planned route/schedule.

- Organize small doctor meetings, CMEs, or informal gatherings when required.

- Distribute hospital brochures, visiting cards, service lists, and other promotional materials.

- Identify new doctors and clinics in the territory and add them to the network.

**4. Reporting & Coordination**

- Maintain daily visit reports (doctors met, discussions held, patients expected).

- Submit weekly and monthly performance reports showing:

 - Number of doctors/RMPs met

 - New connections made

 - Patients referred / converted

- Coordinate with hospital marketing and admin teams for any support required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate in any stream (preferably Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field)

- 1–4 years of experience in field marketing, medical representative (MR), or hospital business development

- Strong communication and relationship-building skills

- Ability to travel extensively in the field on a daily basis

- Good knowledge of local area and doctor network (preferred)

- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and disciplined

- Basic knowledge of hospital services and medical terminology is an advantage

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Number of doctor/RMP meetings conducted per month

- Number of active referring doctors in the network

- Number of patients referred and converted

- Growth in OPD/IPD patients from field efforts
