Production, Warehouse & Manufacturing Operations Manager

Position: Production, Warehouse & Manufacturing Manager
Experience: 0-6 years in Pharmaceutical / Veterinary / Nutraceutical / FMCG manufacturing

About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and responsible professional to manage our production operations, warehouse management, manufacturing processes, inventory and dispatch activities.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day manufacturing operations while maintaining quality, documentation, inventory accuracy, production planning, GMP compliance and timely dispatches.
Key Responsibilities1. Production Management
- Plan and supervise daily/weekly/monthly production activities.
- Ensure production is completed according to approved production plans and batch requirements.
- Coordinate manpower, machinery, materials and production schedules.
- Monitor manufacturing, filling, packing and batch-processing activities.
- Ensure proper line clearance and equipment readiness before production.
- Monitor production output, yield and process losses.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
2. Warehouse Management
- Manage RM, PM, WIP and Finished Goods warehouses.
- Ensure proper receiving, identification, segregation and storage of materials.
- Maintain proper stock records and inventory accuracy.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO wherever applicable.
- Monitor expiry, near-expiry and slow-moving materials.
- Ensure appropriate storage conditions for temperature- and moisture-sensitive materials.
- Coordinate material issuance to production and receipt of finished goods from production.
3. Inventory & Material Planning
- Maintain optimum inventory levels of raw and packaging materials.
- Coordinate with Purchase, QC, Production and Management for material availability.
- Prepare material requirement plans based on production schedules.
- Avoid unnecessary stock accumulation and production interruptions due to material shortages.
4. Manufacturing Process Control
- Ensure manufacturing activities are performed according to approved SOPs, BMR/BPR and specifications.
- Ensure proper documentation of manufacturing activities.
- Monitor process parameters and batch records.
- Coordinate with QA/QC for sampling, testing, approval and release of materials/batches.
- Ensure deviations, discrepancies and production issues are reported and addressed appropriately.
5. GMP & Compliance
- Maintain GMP-compliant production and warehouse practices.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, hygiene and safety standards.
- Ensure equipment cleaning and maintenance records are maintained.
- Support internal, customer and regulatory audits.
- Ensure traceability of raw materials, packaging materials and finished products.
6. Dispatch & Logistics
- Coordinate finished-goods dispatches according to approved orders.
- Ensure correct product, batch, quantity and documentation before dispatch.
- Coordinate with logistics partners and customers where required.
- Maintain proper dispatch and stock records.
- Candidate RequirementsDegree/Diploma in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Production Management or related field.
- 5–10 years of relevant manufacturing/warehouse experience.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, veterinary, nutraceutical, herbal/Ayurvedic or similar manufacturing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Good understanding of GMP, SOPs and batch documentation.
- Strong leadership and manpower-management skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel/ERP/software-based inventory management.
- Ability to independently manage day-to-day manufacturing operations.
