Job Description

1 Take customer calls, quote rates and close orders within approved pricing.

2 Check stock with the loading staff before confirming any order.

3 Arrange vehicles, supervise loading, and make sure every dispatch has a proper bill.

4 Coordinate with the sales team to plan which locations or markets to cover, and allocate staff, vehicles and stock accordingly.

5 Collect payments and follow the agreed credit terms.

6 Call and message parties with pending payments regularly, and keep a record of all dues.

7 Stay the customer's point of contact until the material is unloaded, and handle any complaints.

8 Manage godown staff and keep stock organised, with no pilferage.
