Cashier

WE ARE LOOKING Cashier to manage transactions and support customers at our furniture showroom. The cashier will process payments accurately, prepare invoices, maintain transaction records, and coordinate with the sales, warehouse, and delivery teams.

• Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome customers and provide courteous service at the checkout counter.
• Process cash, card, UPI, bank-transfer, financing, and other approved payments.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, quotations, credit notes, and refund documentation.
• Verify product details, prices, discounts, taxes, delivery charges, and customer information.
• Handle deposits, advance payments, installment payments, and outstanding balances.
• Coordinate with sales staff regarding discounts, promotions, and order changes.
• Confirm stock, delivery, and installation details with the relevant departments.
• Balance the cash register and prepare daily sales and payment reports.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions, cancellations, exchanges, and returns.
• Follow company procedures for cash handling, refunds, discounts, and fraud prevention.
• Address basic customer concerns and refer complex issues to the appropriate manager.
• Keep the billing counter clean, secure, and organised.
