VMC Machine Operator

We are looking for an experienced VMC Operator with hands-on experience in die and mould machining. The candidate should be capable of operating VMC machines independently and should have good knowledge of machining processes, tools, drawings, and measurements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate VMC machines for die, mould and precision component machining.
• Read and understand engineering drawings and machining dimensions.
• Set up jobs, tools, fixtures and workpieces on the VMC machine.
• Perform tool offset and work offset setting.
• Monitor machining operations and ensure required accuracy and surface finish.
• Check components using measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, etc.
• Identify and rectify basic machining issues during production.
• Follow machining programs and make minor program/offset corrections when required.
• Maintain proper machine operation, housekeeping and safety standards.
• Coordinate with the production/quality team to achieve production targets.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of VMC operating experience.
• Strong experience in Die & Mould machining preferred.
• Experience with Haas VMC will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of CNC/VMC tools, cutting parameters and tool selection.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T and basic inspection methods.
• Ability to work independently and meet production targets.
