Accounts Manager

Role Overview

The Accounts Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day finance department, maintaining accurate books of accounts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing financial insights to business owners or top management.

Key Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping & Accounting Operations:
• Oversee daily accounting entries, general ledgers, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).
• Manage bank reconciliations, petty cash, and cash-flow monitoring.
• Financial Reporting & Closing:
• Prepare and review Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Generate management information system (MIS) reports and financial summaries for leadership.
• Taxation & Statutory Compliance:
• Handle GST computations, GST return filings, TDS, and other Indian statutory compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with Chartered Accountants (CAs) and external auditors during tax audits and statutory filings.
• Internal Controls & Audits:
• Implement and maintain robust internal accounting controls and risk management procedures.
• Support inventory, fixed-asset accounting, and internal/external audit preparations.
