Job Description
Reads blueprints, measures and cuts metal pieces, fits components together, and welds them using techniques like MIG, TIG, or Stick. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols. Lay out, align, position, and clamp metal parts before assembly. Perform tack-welding or full structural welding in various positions.
Cut, shape, and grind metal components using torches and saws. Inspect completed welds for flaws and structural accuracy. Maintain tools, machinery, and a safe work area.
