Job Description
Solar PV InstallerJob SummaryWe are looking for a skilled Solar PV Installer responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar power plants. The candidate will work at project sites to ensure solar PV systems are installed safely, correctly, and as per required technical standards.
- Key ResponsibilitiesInstall Solar PV systems and solar power plants at project sites.
- Carry out installation of solar panels/modules, mounting structures, cables, and other system components.
- Perform electrical connections and wiring as per the approved design and safety standards.
- Assist with installation and connection of inverters, junction boxes, DC/AC cables, earthing, and related equipment.
- Conduct inspection, testing, and basic commissioning of installed solar systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot installation-related electrical and solar system issues.
- Perform regular servicing and preventive maintenance of solar PV systems.
- Attend breakdowns and carry out necessary repair and replacement work.
- Check system performance and identify faults affecting power generation.
- Ensure proper alignment, mounting, wiring, and connections of solar equipment.
- Follow electrical and site safety procedures during installation and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to complete projects on time.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and required installation materials.
- Prepare basic service and maintenance reports as required.
- RequirementsHands-on experience in Solar PV installation and servicing.
- Practical knowledge of solar panels, mounting structures, wiring, cables, and electrical connections.
