Cable Technician / Cable Jointing TechnicianJob SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and responsible Cable Technician / Cable Jointing Technician to handle cable and wire connection, jointing, termination, installation, and basic troubleshooting work. The candidate will be responsible for making proper and secure cable connections while maintaining safety and quality standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPerform cable and wire joining/jointing as per work requirements.
• Connect and terminate different types of electrical cables and wires.
• Perform cable crimping, stripping, lugging, and connector fitting.
• Identify the correct wires and cables before making connections.
• Install and route cables properly as per drawings or instructions.
• Check cable connections for proper continuity and secure fitting.
• Use basic electrical tools such as wire stripper, crimping tools, cutters, testers, and multimeter.
• Inspect cables for damage, loose connections, or other faults.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of cable and wiring-related issues.
• Ensure proper insulation and protection of cable joints.
• Follow wiring diagrams, instructions, and technical specifications.
• Maintain proper quality standards and minimize wiring errors.
• Follow electrical safety procedures and use required PPE.
• Maintain tools and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Coordinate with supervisors and technicians to complete assigned work on time.
