Clinical Assistant

The Clinical Assistant will assist the doctor in daily patient consultations and hair/skin treatments, prepare treatment rooms and equipment, maintain patient records and photographs, coordinate appointments and follow-ups, and ensure patients receive a professional and comfortable experience.

Key Responsibilities1. Patient Handling

• Welcome patients and understand their basic concerns.
• Record patient history and treatment details as instructed by the doctor.
• Check basic vitals when required.
• Guide patients through the consultation and treatment process.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

2. Doctor & Treatment Assistance

• Assist the doctor during hair and skin consultations.
• Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and consumables.
• Assist during procedures such as PRP, microneedling, chemical peels, laser procedures, facials and other aesthetic treatments, according to training and scope of practice.
• Follow strict hygiene and sterilization protocols.
• Ensure all required materials are ready before treatment.

3. Hair & Skin Documentation

• Take standardized before-and-after photographs as instructed.
• Maintain patient treatment records.
• Track treatment sessions and follow-up dates.
• Maintain organized digital and physical patient files.

4. Patient Follow-Up

• Call/message patients for follow-up appointments.
• Remind patients about upcoming treatment sessions.
• Follow up on routine post-treatment instructions provided by the doctor.
• Escalate any adverse reaction or patient complaint to the doctor immediately.

5. Clinic Management

• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of treatment rooms.
• Monitor medical supplies, skincare products, consumables, and equipment.
• Maintain inventory and inform management when supplies are low.
• Coordinate with reception and other clinic staff.

6. Patient Experience

• Explain routine treatment preparation and after-care instructions as directed by the doctor.
• Make patients comfortable before and during procedures.
• Handle patient queries professionally.
• Maintain a friendly, hygienic, and professional clinic environment.

• Basic knowledge of dermatology, hair care and aesthetic treatments
• Knowledge of hygiene and sterilization
• Good computer skills and record keeping

• Ability to communicate professionally on WhatsApp and phone

QualificationPreferred:

• B.Sc. Nursing / GNM / ANM / BPT / Certified Clinical Assistant / relevant healthcare qualification
• Previous experience in a dermatology, hair transplant, cosmetology, or aesthetic clinic is preferred.

Experience: 0–3 years; experienced candidates preferred.
