Job Description
- Generate New BusinessIdentify and approach gemstone manufacturers, diamond processing units, jewelry manufacturers, and gemstone exporters to generate new sales opportunities.
- Customer Visits & Product DemonstrationsConduct regular field visits to customer locations and provide live demonstrations of the gemstone gauging and measuring machine.
- Understand Customer RequirementsAnalyze customers' production processes, quality control requirements, and measurement challenges to recommend suitable machine configurations.
- Lead Generation & Follow-upGenerate leads through industrial visits, exhibitions, referrals, cold calling, and networking, and consistently follow up until closure.
- Sales Target AchievementMeet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
- Quotation & NegotiationPrepare quotations, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and coordinate with management to successfully close deals.
- Customer Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain long-term relationships with customers by providing timely support, regular follow-ups, and identifying opportunities for repeat business.
- Market Research & Competitor AnalysisMonitor market trends, competitor products, pricing, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and improve sales strategies.
- Coordination with Internal TeamsWork closely with the technical, production, installation, and service teams to ensure smooth order execution, machine delivery, installation, and customer satisfaction.
- Sales Reporting & DocumentationMaintain accurate records of customer interactions, visit reports, quotations, sales forecasts, and CRM updates, and submit regular performance reports to management.
