Field Service Engineer

Position: Field Service Engineer

1. Perform in-house and customer-site machine installation, servicing, preventive maintenance, and breakdown maintenance.
2. Assemble machines, mechanical parts, electrical components, sensors, motors, wiring, and related accessories as per drawings and SOPs.
3. Test, calibrate, inspect, and verify machine performance before final dispatch.
4. Install and commission machines at customer locations and ensure successful machine handover.
5. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and basic software-related machine problems.
6. Coordinate machine packing, dispatch, transportation, delivery, installation, and commissioning activities.
7. Provide basic machine operation, maintenance, cleaning, calibration, and troubleshooting training to customers.
8. Maintain service reports, installation reports, maintenance history, spare-parts records, and customer service documentation.
9. Coordinate with production, design, software, quality, and management teams for technical problem resolution.
10. Ensure all service and assembly work follows company quality standards, safety procedures, and committed delivery schedules.
11. Handle customer complaints professionally and provide timely technical support.
12. Perform periodic preventive maintenance visits to minimize machine downtime and improve machine reliability.
13. Identify frequently occurring machine failures and report improvement suggestions to the engineering team.
14. Maintain company tools, testing instruments, service kits, and spare parts in proper working condition.
15. Travel to customer sites as required for installation, service, maintenance, and technical support.
