Position: IT Support Executive
Department: Information Technology (IT)
Location: Surat, Gujarat
Employment Type: Full-Time
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled IT Support Executive to provide technical assistance and support to users. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and system-related issues while ensuring smooth IT operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to employees and clients via phone, email, remote access, or in-person.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, printers, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, internet, and network-related issues.
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
- Monitor and maintain system performance and security.
- Log, track, and resolve support tickets within defined timelines.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution.
- Maintain IT inventory and asset records.
- Assist in software deployment, updates, and system upgrades.
- Provide basic training and guidance to users regarding IT systems and applications.
Required Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking.
- Familiarity with Windows Operating Systems.
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite and email applications.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple issues simultaneously.
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:
- BCA, MCA, B.Sc. IT, Diploma in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
Experience:
- 0–2 years of experience in IT Support, Technical Support, Helpdesk, or Desktop Support preferred.
- Preferred SkillsKnowledge of LAN/WAN networking.
- Understanding of Active Directory and Remote Desktop tools.
- Experience with ticketing systems.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity practices.
