Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a talented, technically minded and quick-learning individual to operate CVD diamond-growing machines and perform basic preventive maintenance.
Candidates do not need previous CVD diamond machine experience. We are willing to train the right candidate who has a strong learning attitude, practical skills, discipline and an interest in machinery and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
1. CVD Machine Operation
* Operate CVD diamond-growing machines according to company SOPs.
* Monitor machine parameters such as pressure, temperature, gas flow and running time.
* Perform daily machine inspections and record production data.
* Monitor machine performance and report abnormalities promptly.
* Follow production schedules and safety procedures.
2. Basic Maintenance and Troubleshooting
* Perform routine cleaning, inspection and preventive maintenance.
* Assist with vacuum pumps, valves, gas lines, fittings and other mechanical components.
* Identify basic leakage, unusual noise, pressure fluctuations and machine alarms.
* Assist senior technicians in troubleshooting and repairs.
* Maintain maintenance records and report recurring issues.
3. Production Monitoring and Reporting
* Maintain accurate machine running records and production logs.
* Capture machine photographs and parameter readings as instructed.
* Report machine downtime, faults and maintenance requirements.
* Follow pre-production, production and post-production procedures.
4. Safety and Discipline
* Follow all safety procedures related to vacuum systems, gases, electrical equipment and microwave systems.
* Keep the machine area clean and organized.
* Follow shift schedules, checklists and reporting requirements.
* Never attempt unauthorized repairs on high-voltage, microwave or hazardous gas systems.

* Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical systems.
* Practical interest in machines, tools and maintenance.
* Ability to understand instructions and learn new technology quickly.
* Logical thinking and problem-solving ability.
* Attention to detail and willingness to maintain records.
* Honest, disciplined, responsible and safety-conscious.
Preferred Candidates
* ITI Fitter
* ITI Electrician
* Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
* Diploma in Electrical Engineering
* Diploma in Electronics or Instrumentation
Freshers are welcome. Previous CVD machine experience is not mandatory.
