Job Opening: Procurement Manager – Organic Waste (CBG Plant)
Company: Earthex Waste Management Services
Location: Surat (field role, 40 km radius)
Job Type: Full-Time

Company Overview
Earhex is a waste management company that produces CBG (Compressed Biogas) from organic waste. We collect organic waste from restaurants, hotels, and other bulk waste generators across Surat and the surrounding area and process it at our biogas plant.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Procurement Manager who will visit organic/bulk waste generators within Surat and a 30 km radius — restaurants, hotels, large kitchens, NGOs, temples, schools, any organization with a kitchen/canteen, agro companies, and food processing companies — and onboard them as our waste-supply vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and build a list of all potential organic/bulk waste generators (restaurants, hotels, large kitchens, NGOs, temples, schools, canteens, agro/food processing companies) in Surat and the surrounding 30 km area
Fix meetings over calls and visit them in person on the field
Pitch our proposal — that we will collect their organic waste free of cost in exchange for a certification; if they aren't willing to give it for free, purchase the waste at a bare-minimum price
Onboard vendors on a 1-year agreement that includes a guaranteed waste buy-back option
Maintain vendor relationships after onboarding so waste collection stays regular and reliable
Report on daily/weekly field visits and the vendor pipeline
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience in field sales or vendor onboarding
Must own a bike
Must own a smartphone
Must be fluent in Hindi, Gujarati, and English
Comfortable with a travel-heavy role
Preferred (Good to Have)
Experience in real estate sales/onboarding
Experience in insurance sales
Experience in agro / food processing / FMCG sales or vendor onboarding
Experience in engineering sales/onboarding
Experience working in a waste management company
Experience in agro product sales and distribution
