Software Tester Cum Customer Support Executive

Job Description

We are looking for a Software Tester Cum Customer Support Executive to join our Kodllin team.

The candidate will be responsible for testing our Kodllin Diamond Management ERP, identifying and

reporting software issues, assisting customers with day-to-day software queries, and coordinating

with the development team to ensure issues are resolved properly.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of Kodllin ERP web and mobile features.
• Test new features before deployment to customers.
• Identify, reproduce, and clearly document bugs.
• Prepare test cases and verify expected vs. actual results.
• Perform regression testing after bug fixes and new releases.
• Test modules such as Stock, Purchase, Sales, Memo/Jangad, Hold, Invoice, Accounts, Reports, and Inventory Management.
• Test diamond stock upload, Excel import/export, pricing, and B2B stock-sharing functionality.
• Handle customer support through Phone, WhatsApp, and remote support.
• Understand customer issues and provide proper solutions or guidance.
• Reproduce customer-reported problems before forwarding them to developers.
• Create proper bug/support tickets with screenshots, videos, and steps to reproduce.
• Coordinate with developers until issues are resolved.
• Verify fixes before informing customers.
• Help customers understand and use Kodllin features.
• Assist with new customer onboarding, software setup, and training.
• Maintain records of customer issues, pending tickets, and resolutions.
• Follow up on unresolved customer issues and ensure timely closure.
• Collect customer feedback and feature requirements and communicate them to the relevant team.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of software/web application testing.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to understand customer problems clearly.
• Good communication skills in Gujarati and Hindi; basic/professional English communication.
• Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.
• Ability to document bugs clearly.
• Comfortable communicating with customers over phone and WhatsApp.
• Willingness to learn Diamond Industry workflows and Kodllin ERP.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in Manual Testing / QA / Software Support.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, accounting, inventory, or business software.
• Basic understanding of APIs, databases, or browser developer tools is an advantage.
• Diamond industry knowledge is an advantage but not mandatory.

Fresher to 2+ Years

Candidates with strong communication and problem-solving skills can apply even without Diamond Industry experience.
