Stock Verification & Physical Audit

• Conduct regular physical stock audits across manufacturing units (RM, WIP, FG) and depots.

• Perform cycle counting and surprise audits.

• Verify stock in kg, cone-wise, lot-wise, and color-wise.

 ERP vs Physical Reconciliation

• Ensure near 100% matching of physical stock with ERP.

• Identify shortages, excess, and mismatches.

• Prepare variance reports and resolve discrepancies within timelines.

Production & WIP Control

• Monitor raw material consumption vs finished goods output.

• Track standard vs actual consumption and process loss.

• Audit WIP stages like dyeing, rewinding, and packing.

Inventory Movement Control

• Ensure all stock movements are properly recorded (issue, production, transfer, dispatch).

• Verify documents like Material Issue Slip, GRN, and Delivery Challan.

• Prevent unauthorized stock movement.

Lot & Batch Management

• Maintain strict lot-wise and color-wise inventory control.

• Ensure proper tagging and traceability of batches.

• Avoid mixing of lots and shade mismatch issues.

Stock Accuracy & Control

• Maintain stock accuracy of 98%–100%.

• Monitor negative stock, dead stock, and slow-moving items.

• Ensure proper unit handling (kg, cone).

Reporting & MIS

• Prepare daily/weekly stock audit reports.

• Submit variance, consumption, and WIP reports.

• Highlight critical discrepancies to management.

Root Cause Analysis & Improvement

• Identify reasons for stock mismatch (loss, entry error, damage, pilferage).

• Suggest corrective actions and process improvements.

• Implement controls to reduce recurring issues.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with production, store, dispatch, and accounts teams.

• Ensure smooth inventory flow across all locations.

• Escalate major issues to management.
