Ticketing Executive

Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle domestic and international flight bookings, cancellations, and re-issuance
• Manage ticketing through GDS systems such as Galileo
• Provide accurate fare quotations and travel options to clients
• Ensure timely issuance of tickets and follow-ups on pending bookings
• Handle refunds, rescheduling, and fare differences efficiently
• Coordinate with airlines and vendors for smooth operations
• Assist junior team members and resolve complex ticketing issues
• Maintain proper documentation and records of bookings
• Ensure compliance with company policies and airline regulations

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 – 5years of experience in airline ticketing
• Proficiency in GDS systems
• Strong knowledge of fare rules, routing, and ticketing procedures
• Excellent communication and customer handling skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Basic knowledge of MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a travel agency or tour operator company
• Team handling or mentoring experience
