Barista

About Us: Selkie's is a premium artisanal cafe and bakery located at The Walk, Hiranandani Estate. We are known for high-end pastries, international desserts, and a top-tier coffee experience. We are looking for a passionate, energetic Barista who loves coffee and thrives in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coffee & Beverage Crafting: Operate commercial espresso machines, dial in grinders, and craft a variety of manual and espresso-based specialty coffee drinks with consistent quality and basic latte art.
• Guest Experience: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, explain our unique menu, and provide excellent hospitality.
• Cafe Operations & Upkeep: Assist with daily inventory tracking and ordering. Maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene standards across the cafe (housekeeping and deep cleaning are shared team responsibilities). Housekeeping is a standard part of all roles at Selkie's cafe.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen helper and store manager to ensure smooth daily operations and handling of billing/POS systems.

Requirements:

• Experience: 1–3 years of proven experience as a Barista in a specialty cafe or premium QSR format.
• Skills: Strong understanding of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and basic latte art. Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Mindset: Punctual, neat in appearance, and a team player who is willing to roll up their sleeves for general cafe upkeep when needed.

Shift & Timings:

• 9-hour rotational shift (includes opening or closing duties).
• 6 days a week (1 weekly off on a weekday).
