Collection Team Leader-DRA

We are seeking an experienced Senior Collection Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will be

responsible for managing a portfolio of delinquent accounts, leading a team of collection agents, and

ensuring compliance with collection laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collections Strategy & Execution

● Develop and implement robust collection strategies for different aging buckets.

● Segment portfolios by risk and create tailored recovery strategies.

● Monitor daily/weekly/monthly recovery performance and drive team targets

      2. Team Management

● Lead and manage a team of collection officers/executives or agencies (field and tele-collections).

● Set clear goals, monitor KPIs, and conduct regular performance reviews.

● Provide training and coaching to ensure high team productivity and adherence to policies.

     3. Portfolio Monitoring & Analysis

● Regularly review delinquency trends and provide actionable insights.

● Identify high-risk accounts and recommend remedial actions (e.g., settlement, legal escalation).

● Collaborate with the credit risk team for early warning triggers.

Key Skills & Competencies:

● Strong understanding of collection processes, skip tracing, and recovery methods

● Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and trends

● Knowledge of local and national debt recovery laws

● Conflict resolution and stakeholder management skills

 Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in related field.

● 5–8+ years of experience in collections, preferably in [banking/NBFC/fintech]

● Experience managing large portfolios and leading a team

● Fluency in [regional languages] is a plus
