Consultant - Group Function Support| Thane
Provide the application support, stability, enhancement, and governance of Group Functions Applications by ensuring reliable service delivery, business continuity, regulatory compliance, and alignment of technology solutions with organizational objectives across functions such as Finance, HR, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Insyrance etc.
- Provide Level 2 application support for Group Functions applications, ensuring timely incident resolution and service restoration.
- Perform issue analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause identification for application and interface-related problems.
- Manage and resolve service requests, incidents, and problem tickets in accordance with agreed SLAs.
- Monitor application health, performance, batch jobs, and integrations to ensure operational stability.
- Coordinate with business users, L3 support teams, vendors, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex issues.
- Execute and support application releases, patches, and configuration changes in production and non-production environments.
- Conduct impact assessments, testing, and validation for application changes and enhancements.
- Maintain application documentation, knowledge articles, support procedures, and operational runbooks.
- Ensure compliance with IT controls, audit requirements, security policies, and regulatory standards.
- Analyze recurring issues and drive problem management and continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Support business continuity activities, including disaster recovery testing and resilience planning.
- Provide operational reporting on incidents, service performance, application availability, and support metrics.
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand support requirements and improve user experience.
- Ensure effective management of application access, user administration, and role-based permissions where applicable.
- Contribute to automation opportunities to improve support efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Experience: 5 to 10 years
Qualifications: BE -IT,CS/B.tech IT/BCA/B.Sc - CS/M.Sc IT / MCA
