Continental Cook: Responsibilities

1. Prepare continental dishes such as pasta, sauces, soups, grills, salads and sandwiches
2. Follow standard recipes and maintain consistent taste and presentation
3. Control portion sizes and minimise food wastage
4. Complete daily mise en place and station setup before service
5. Cook orders accurately and on time during peak hours
6. Maintain hygiene and FSSAI food safety standards
7. Check quality and freshness of ingredients on receiving
8. Manage station stock and inform the kitchen head of shortages
9. Handle kitchen equipment safely, including gas and grills
10. Support and guide helpers and work well with the kitchen team

Kitchen Helper: Responsibilities

1. Assist the cooks with daily food preparation
2. Wash, peel, cut and portion vegetables, meat and other ingredients
3. Set up the cook's station before service
4. Keep the kitchen, counters and floors clean throughout the shift
5. Wash and arrange utensils, equipment and cookware
6. Receive, store and arrange stock as per FIFO
7. Label and store food correctly in the fridge and store room
8. Dispose of waste properly and follow hygiene rules
9. Fetch and supply ingredients to cooks quickly
10. Follow the chef's instructions and report any issues
