We are looking for a Commis 2 / Commis 3 / Continental Kitchen Helper to join our kitchen team.

• Job ResponsibilitiesAssist the Chef in daily kitchen preparation and food production.
• Prepare and portion vegetables, fruits and other ingredients.
• Assist in preparing continental dishes, salads, bowls and wraps.
• Prepare basic sauces, dressings, marinades and accompaniments.
• Assist with basic cooking and food preparation.
• Follow recipes, preparation methods and portion sizes.
• Prepare ingredients according to the daily kitchen prep sheet.
• Assist with bulk preparation for meal subscriptions and online orders.
• Help with plating, packing and order preparation.
• Maintain consistency in taste, quality and portion size.
• Follow proper food hygiene and safety practices.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, workstations and equipment.
• Properly store ingredients and prepared food.
• Follow FIFO and minimize food wastage.
• Assist with inventory checks and inform the senior chef about low-stock items.
• Support kitchen opening and closing activities.
• Skills We Are Looking ForBasic knowledge of Continental food preparation.
• Good vegetable and fruit cutting skills.
• Basic knowledge of salads, wraps, bowls and sauces.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions.
• Good hygiene and cleanliness habits.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Hardworking, punctual and reliable.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the business.
