Senior Quality Engineer

Sr. Quality Control Engineer (ONLY Pressure vessels / Columns / Reactors / Heat Exchangers)

Job Location : AMBERNATH.

Living at : Kalyan / Badlapur / Ambernath / Dombivili

Diploma or BE Mechanical Engineer with 3 years experience in pressure vessels / Columns / Reactors / Heat Exchangers + dealing with TPI

Responsibilities and Duties

• Review of drawings, MDS and approved QAP.
• Inspection and monitoring of activities in compliance with QAP.
• Coordination with Client, TPI and other concern department to fulfill the execution QC activities and complete with in schedule as per production planning.
• Material coordination inspection of materials& review MTC's as per applicable codes & specifications.
• Stage inspection such as fit up weld visual, NDT and final dimension check for piping, structural and pressure vessel fabrication.
• Monitoring quality of various welding processes.
• Blasting, painting inspection (before, during and after) and related testing like DFT for various fabricated items.
• To record / witness hydro test / pneumatic test of pressure vessel.
• Preparation of internal inspection reports as per QAP.
• In process inspection of equipment in shop floor.
• Final inspection of equipment in shop floor.
• Radiography offering.
• Radiography film review.
• Preparation of QAP as per drawing and specification.
• Preparation of final dossiers documents.To mail approved name plate proofs to name plate supplier and crosscheck the same after receipt of name plate as per requirement.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Diploma or BE- Mechanical with 5 - 8 years of experience as Quality Engineer in fabrication industry (Pressure vessel, dryers, tanks, heat reactors, exchangers).
