Role Purpose
The incumbent will be responsible for managing and handling Central Statutory Notice Services (CSNS) activities, including processing and coordination of Cyber Crime Notices, Non-Cyber Statutory Notices, Law Enforcement Agency (LEA) requests, regulatory notices, and court-related communications. The role requires close coordination with internal stakeholders, regulatory authorities, law enforcement agencies, and compliance teams to ensure timely and accurate responses within prescribed timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end processing of Cyber Crime Notices received from Law Enforcement Agencies and Cyber Cells.
- Manage Non-Cyber Statutory Notices including notices from courts, police departments, income tax authorities, GST authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
- Review notices, verify account details, and coordinate with relevant business and operations teams for information gathering.
- Ensure timely submission of responses and compliance with regulatory and statutory timelines.
- Maintain records, trackers, MIS, and audit trails for all notices received and responded to.
- Liaise with Compliance, Legal, Operations, Branches, and Business teams to resolve notice-related matters.
- Identify and escalate high-risk cases involving account freezes, fraudulent transactions, or regulatory concerns.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and information security standards.
- Support regulatory inspections, audits, and compliance reviews relating to statutory notices.
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiency within the CSNS function.
Eligibility & Experience
- Graduate/Postgraduate from a recognized university.
- 4–7 years of experience in Banking Operations, Compliance Operations, Legal Operations, Fraud Risk, Regulatory Reporting, or Statutory Notices handling.
- Experience in handling Cyber Crime or Law Enforcement Agency notices will be preferred.
Key Skills
- Strong understanding of banking operations and regulatory framework.
- Knowledge of cyber crime reporting processes and statutory notice handling.
- Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and documentation management.
- Ability to work under stringent timelines and manage multiple priorities.
