Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and trend-driven Video Editor to produce high-quality videos for social media platforms. The role involves editing short-form and long-form content such as reels, shorts, ads, and promotional videos to enhance brand engagement and campaign performance.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Video Editing

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other platforms.
• Edit long-form videos for YouTube, brand videos, and promotional content.
• Add text overlays, transitions, effects, music, subtitles, and captions.
• Ensure videos are optimized for each platform’s format and specifications.

Creative & Trend Execution

• Stay updated with social media trends, viral formats, and audio tracks.
• Suggest creative edits, hooks, and storytelling techniques to improve retention.
• Adapt editing styles based on different client industries and brand guidelines.

Marketing & Campaign Support

• Edit videos for paid ad campaigns (Meta Ads, YouTube Ads).
• Create promotional videos, testimonials, and explainer videos.
• Support product launches and marketing campaigns with video content.

Collaboration & Workflow

• Coordinate with social media executives, graphic designers, and content teams.
• Implement feedback and revisions efficiently.
• Manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines in an agency environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / CapCut.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of After Effects (preferred).
• Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
• Understanding of aspect ratios and formats (9:16, 1:1, 16:9).
• Good time management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Motion graphics or animation skills.
• Experience working in a digital marketing or social media agency.
• Knowledge of color grading and sound design.
• Familiarity with Canva or mobile editing apps.
