Position: Store Manager

Department: Retail / Store Operations

Reporting To: Cluster Head

Location: Samrala, Theog, Rampur (HP), Anni (HP), Karsog (HP), Nerwa, Rohru.

Experience: –Minimum 5 Years

Job Purpose

To manage the day-to-day operations of the store, achieve sales and profitability targets, ensure excellent customer service, maintain inventory accuracy, and lead the store team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales & Business
• Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Drive store revenue, conversion, average bill value, and customer retention.
• Plan and execute promotional activities to increase sales.
• Monitor daily/weekly/monthly store performance and take corrective actions.
• Store Operations
• Ensure smooth opening and closing of the store.
• Maintain store presentation, visual merchandising, cleanliness, and hygiene.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and operational standards.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Inventory Management
• Monitor stock levels and ensure optimum inventory availability.
• Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
• Minimize stock loss, damage, expiry, and shrinkage.
• Coordinate stock receiving, transfers, replenishment, and returns.
• Team Management
• Recruit, train, coach, and motivate store staff.
• Prepare staff rosters and manage attendance and leave.
• Set individual targets and conduct performance reviews.
• Ensure discipline, grooming, and professional behavior of the team.
• Cash & Compliance
• Ensure accurate cash handling and daily cash reconciliation.
• Monitor billing and POS transactions.
• Ensure adherence to statutory, safety, and security requirements.
• Maintain required store records and reports.

Qualification

Education: Graduate preferred; MBA/PGDM in Retail/Marketing is an advantage.

Experience: 3–7 years of relevant retail/store management experience.
