JOB DESCRIPTION – COUNTER SALES EXECUTIVEJob Title: Counter Sales Executive

Reports To: Sales Manager / Store In-charge

Location: TIRUVALLUR

Job PurposeTo attend to customers at the sales counter, understand their requirements, recommend suitable products, process sales transactions, and provide excellent customer service to achieve sales targets.

1. Key ResponsibilitiesWelcome customers and assist them with their product requirements.
2. Explain product features, specifications, prices, and offers to customers.
3. Handle customer enquiries and recommend suitable products.
4. Prepare quotations, sales invoices, and bills.
5. Process cash, card, UPI, and other payment transactions accurately.
6. Maintain proper cash records and daily sales reports.
7. Ensure products are properly displayed and maintain the cleanliness of the sales counter.
8. Check product availability and coordinate with the store or inventory team.
9. Handle customer complaints and resolve basic issues professionally.
10. Follow up with customers regarding orders and product availability.
11. Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
12. Maintain proper records of sales, returns, and exchanges.
13. Coordinate with the sales and accounts departments for smooth operations.
14. Follow company policies, pricing guidelines, and customer service standards.

• Previous experience in counter sales or retail sales is preferred.

• 1–3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
