🎯 JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Store Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of a supermarket. The candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining stock and inventory, ensuring proper product display, and supporting smooth store operations.

The ideal candidate should have good communication and leadership skills, along with experience in retail store management and inventory handling.

📋 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

🛍️ Daily Store Operations

• Supervise day-to-day supermarket operations and ensure smooth functioning of the store.

• Ensure shelves, counters, and store areas are properly organized and maintained.

• Monitor customer service and help resolve customer queries when required.

📦 Inventory & Stock Management

• Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of products.

• Check incoming stock and coordinate proper storage and arrangement.

• Conduct regular stock checks and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.

• Ensure products are properly rotated and arranged to minimize wastage.

👥 Staff Management

• Supervise and allocate daily tasks to store staff.

• Monitor employee attendance, discipline, and work performance.

• Guide and support staff to maintain productivity and service standards.

• Train new staff on basic store procedures where required.

🏷️ Merchandising & Product Display

• Ensure products are properly displayed, labelled, and arranged according to store standards.

• Monitor shelf availability and maintain attractive product presentation.

• Check pricing, offers, and promotional displays.

📊 Store Control & Reporting

• Maintain records related to inventory, stock movement, and store operations.

• Report operational issues, stock discrepancies, and other concerns to management.

• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams whenever required.

⭐ IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

The ideal candidate should be responsible, organized, and confident in managing supermarket operations and staff. Prior experience in retail, supermarkets, grocery stores, or similar environments will be preferred.

Candidates should be comfortable handling inventory, staff coordination, merchandising, and day-to-day store responsibilities.

💰 SALARY

Fixed Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000/month
