General Manager – Sales & Business Development
📍 Tumkur, Karnataka (frequent travel across South India) | Reports to: Director
About the Role
Dynamic Packaging Pvt. Ltd. is a 25-year-old packaging manufacturer (flexible films, pouches, bags) serving 500+ B2B clients across South India. We're hiring a GM – Sales & BD to lead our commercial team, own revenue growth, and build a high-conversion, process-driven sales engine.
What You'll Own
End-to-end sales performance — from lead conversion through key account growth
Building a structured follow-up and quotation process that doesn't bottleneck through one person
Coaching and upskilling the existing sales/BD team on pricing, negotiation, and closing
Delivery commitments grounded in real production capacity — working closely with operations
New business development, including expansion into other cities and high-growth client segments
Direct, regular reporting to the Director on revenue, pipeline, and team performance
What We're Looking For
8+ years in B2B sales/business development, including 3–4+ years leading a team
Strong track record in field sales, key account management, and pricing/quotation ownership
Experience improving team-wide conversion and productivity — not just personal closing
Comfortable in a fast-paced, founder-led SME environment
Fluent in English and Kannada; Other vernacular languages is a plus
Good to Have
Background in packaging, industrial films, or B2B manufacturing sales
CRM exposure (Zoho or similar)
Experience with high-frequency/cash-and-carry B2B segments
