# Job Description – Electrician / Panel Wiring Technician

**Position:** Electrician / Panel Wiring Technician

### Job Responsibilities

* Electrical panel wiring and assembly as per electrical drawings.

* Machine wiring, cable routing, termination and ferruling.

* Wiring of motors, VFDs, contactors, relays, MCBs, SMPS, sensors and other electrical components.

* Basic PLC input/output wiring and troubleshooting.

* Installation and testing of electrical panels on machines.

* Troubleshooting electrical faults during machine testing and commissioning.

* Checking continuity, voltage, earthing and electrical safety before machine dispatch.

* Reading and understanding basic electrical circuit and panel drawings.

* Supporting machine installation and service work at customer sites when required.

* Maintaining proper wiring quality, neatness and documentation.

### Candidate Requirements

* ITI Electrician / Wireman or Diploma in Electrical Engineering preferred.

* Practical experience in industrial panel wiring or machine wiring.

* Knowledge of 1-phase and 3-phase electrical systems.

* Knowledge of VFD, motors, sensors and basic PLC wiring preferred.

* Ability to use multimeter, clamp meter and standard electrical tools.

* Willingness to travel for machine installation/service when required.

**Experience:** 1–5 years preferred

**Preferred Background:** Candidates with experience in industrial machinery, automation panels, packaging machines, food-processing machines or similar equipment.
