Data Entry Operator

Job Responsibilities

• Handle daily data entry of sales, customer transactions, and payment records.
• Prepare and manage billing for credit customers accurately and on time.
• Maintain complete and up-to-date records of credit sales and outstanding payments.
• Follow up with credit customers for payment recovery and maintain proper collection records.
• Communicate professionally and politely with customers regarding billing, outstanding amounts, and payments.
• Maintain accurate records of daily sales, cash, credit transactions, and collections.
• Keep all documentation and accounts-related records properly organized and updated.
• Maintain proper fuel filling/pump records, including daily fuel sales and stock-related entries.
• Coordinate with the pump staff and management to ensure that daily records are accurate.
• Check entries and bills regularly to minimize errors and discrepancies.
• Prepare daily/weekly reports as required by management.
• Perform other administrative and record-keeping duties related to the petrol pump.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Basic to good knowledge of computer operations and data entry.
• Knowledge of billing, accounts, and credit customer management will be preferred.
• Good understanding of MS Excel and/or billing software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to maintain confidential financial and customer information.
• Good follow-up and payment recovery skills.
• Responsible, honest, punctual, and organized.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with the petrol pump team.
