Job Description – EOT Crane Electrician

Position

Electrician – EOT Crane Maintenance & Control Panel

Job Responsibilities

Build, wire, and troubleshoot electrical control panels for EOT cranes.

Read and understand electrical wiring diagrams, control circuits, and panel drawings.

Carry out installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of EOT cranes.

Troubleshoot electrical faults in hoist, LT, CT, motors, brakes, limit switches, contactors, relays, sensors, and control circuits.

Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of EOT cranes at customer sites.

Work safely at height on crane structures, platforms, and gantry systems.

Carry out field service, site inspection, fault finding, and emergency breakdown support.

Test and replace electrical components when required.

Ensure proper earthing, cable termination, wiring, and electrical connections.

Coordinate with supervisors and customers during site work.

Follow all required electrical and working-at-height safety procedures.

Maintain service reports and provide feedback on site issues.

Required Skills & Experience

ITI / Diploma in Electrical preferred.

2–5 years of experience in electrical work; EOT crane experience will be an advantage.

Good knowledge of electrical control panels and industrial wiring.

Experience with EOT crane electrical systems and maintenance preferred.

Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot control circuits.

Must be comfortable working at height and travelling to customer sites.

Good practical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Valid driving licence would be an advantage.
