Field Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, test, and configure equipment at customer sites
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and/or software-related issues
• Respond promptly to service calls and provide on-site and remote technical support
• Document service activities, maintenance reports, and customer feedback accurately
• Train customers and end users on proper operation and basic maintenance of equipment
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, company procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, sales, logistics, and support) to resolve issues
• Manage spare parts, tools, and service inventory effectively
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional service delivery

Specific Requirements / Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field)
• Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar technical service role
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of technical equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
• Willingness to travel frequently and work at customer sites
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s license
• Basic computer skills (service software, reporting tools, MS Office)
• Working location Gujarat and Maharashtra states

Preferred / Additional Skills

• Knowledge of PLCs, networking, or software systems (depending on role)
• Availability for on-call or weekend support
