Job Description
Supervise and guide staff nurses and other nursing personnel.
Ensure proper patient care, monitoring, and timely implementation of doctors' orders.
Prepare duty rosters and manage staff allocation according to patient requirements.
Monitor medication administration, documentation, and nursing records.
Ensure proper shift handover and takeover.
Maintain infection control, hygiene, and patient safety standards.
Monitor the availability of nursing supplies, equipment, and emergency items.
Handle patient and attendant concerns and coordinate with doctors and other departments.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, nursing protocols, and NABH standards.
Conduct staff training, orientation, and performance monitoring.
Report incidents, medication errors, and other concerns to the appropriate authority.
Maintain accurate records and submit reports to the Nursing Superintendent or management.
Ensure discipline, punctuality, and professional conduct among nursing staff.
