Job Description
- Lakeer (Paras Paper Mart) is a fast-growing D2C brand in the paper and stationery industry. We sell our products on leading online marketplaces, quick-commerce platforms and our own website. Our team of 12 is based in Vadodara and operates lean, shipping a lot of design work every week. This includes main images, A+ banners, infographic listings and ad creatives. If you’ve ever wondered why one product’s main image converts twice as well as another, you’ll feel right at home here.
- Your role will be to manage the visual aspect of how our products appear online. You’ll design main images, secondary images, infographic banners and lifestyle creatives for new and existing online product listings. You’ll also build premium content modules and brand store pages from scratch. You’ll iterate quickly on click-through rate-driving image variants based on data shared by the ads team, conducting regular A/B testing. Finally, you’ll maintain a clean, on-brand visual system across all SKUs and ensure compliance with marketplace image guidelines, such as a 1:1 ratio, white background and mobile-first composition.
- Please note that you won’t be working on wedding cards, logos, print brochures or social media-only projects. This role involves 80%+ online product listing visuals. We’re looking for candidates with a strong portfolio, so applications without one won’t be considered. You’ll need at least 5 years of graphic design experience, with 2 years specifically designing for a D2C or e-commerce brand. We’ll test your Photoshop and Illustrator skills, so a Behance, Drive, Instagram or personal site link showing at least three e-commerce product creatives – main images, infographics or premium content banners – is essential.
- This is a strict in-office role, so you must be based in Vadodara or willing to relocate. Strong aesthetic judgement and the ability to own end-to-end visual direction for our online product listings are crucial. You should have a clear understanding of what drives conversion, not just artistic design.
- Experience with Figma, Canva (for quick turnarounds) or AI tools like Midjourney, Adobe Firefly or Photoshop Generative Fill is a plus. Basic video editing skills in Premiere Pro or CapCut for short-form product videos and familiarity with online seller dashboards or premium content uploaders are also desirable.

- The selection process takes 7-10 days end-to-end. First, we’ll review your portfolio and shortlist candidates within 48 hours of applying. Then, you’ll take a short design test – a 1.5-hour session where you’ll redesign one of our actual product main images and one infographic, all shared via WhatsApp. We’ll only consider your application if your portfolio aligns with our needs. We’ll also schedule a 30-minute call with the founder, Rishabh.
