Role Description The Accountant for Hotel Tridev Varuna is a full-time, on-site role based in Uttar Pradesh, India. This position is responsible for daily bookkeeping, posting and reconciling income and expenses, and maintaining accurate ledgers for hotel operations. The role includes preparing invoices, processing vendor payments, handling payroll inputs, and monitoring cash and bank transactions. The Accountant will prepare regular financial reports, assist with budgeting, support audits, and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, taxation rules, and company policies. The role works closely with hotel management to provide financial insights that support operational decisions and cost control.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting for hospitality or service-based businesses.
• Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, ERP or hotel accounting systems) and good MS Excel skills for data analysis and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
• Understanding of relevant taxation, compliance, and basic audit procedures applicable in India.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
• Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with operations, front office, and management teams.
• Prior experience in hotel or hospitality accounting is preferred but not mandatory.
